How to request deletion of personal data collected through Facebook or Instagram integration with the Digitalko platform.

Effective from 21 September 2026.

1. Legal basis

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Article 17 — Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — every user has the right to request deletion of personal data that Digitalko has collected through integration with their Facebook or Instagram accounts.

The data controller is Digital Marketing j.d.o.o. za usluge, Otona Kučere 72, 44250 Petrinja, Croatia, OIB 27989586968. For any questions, write to [email protected].

2. What we delete

Upon your request, we delete the following data linked to your Digitalko account:

  • Facebook/Instagram account data — access tokens, page names and business profiles that were connected to the Digitalko platform
  • Posts and content — all posts created or scheduled via Digitalko for your Facebook and Instagram pages
  • Insights and analytics — collected data on reach, engagement and post performance
  • Account user data — your name, email address and all other personal data associated with your Digitalko account

Note: deleting data in Digitalko does not affect data stored directly on your Facebook or Instagram profiles — you manage that data directly in Meta's interface.

3. How to submit a request

You can submit a data deletion request in one of the following ways:

Option A — by email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject: "Data deletion request".

Please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address you registered with on Digitalko
  • Confirmation that you want permanent deletion of all your data

Option B — account deletion within the portal

If you have an active Digitalko account, you can delete it directly from the portal:

  1. Log in to portal.digitalko.net
  2. Go to Profile → Account settings
  3. Select Delete account and confirm the action

This process permanently deletes all your data and cannot be undone.

4. Timelines

  • We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days of receipt
  • Deletion will be completed within 30 days of acknowledgement
  • You will receive written confirmation by email once deletion is complete

If for technical or legal reasons certain data cannot be deleted immediately, we will inform you of the reason and the expected timeline.

5. Note on Facebook data

Digitalko accesses your Facebook and Instagram data solely with your explicit consent (OAuth authorisation). Digitalko does not share your data with third parties beyond those listed in the Privacy policy.

To delete data directly on Facebook or Instagram (data not held in Digitalko's database), use Meta's own tools:
